A Christmas Carol

Dickens’s A Christmas Carol has been very much to the forefront in the last week. It has been a GCSE set text this term, and so Years 10 and 11 went to the Albany Theatre on Tuesday morning to watch an excellent performance. Years 7 – 9 followed suit on Thursday morning, in preparation for their own version later that evening. This was Mrs Hjelvik’s first major senior production, and they pulled out all the stops to make it a memorable evening. Next week, on the last day of term, the staff will perform their own version, based very loosely on the Muppets/ Michael Caine film…very loosely indeed!
