Schools’ Climate Action day

This week was also Children’s Mental Health week. Mrs Patria arranged for Kooth; an online counselling and wellbeing platform to show pupils where they can access mental health support.  During the week, pupils have taken part in tutorial sessions, including ‘Self-care’ and ‘mindfulness’ activities as part of their Science lessons, helping them explore strategies for improving their mental health.

All year groups were involved in both school: in the Prep School, they looked at their support balloons: In the Senior School, they produced posters:

However, wellbeing is not just about practical initiatives and continued care and respect for each other. It is also about the ethos and philosophy of Pattison, and it is only when that can be seen in everyone every day at school can we feel that we are truly a school where wellbeing permeates every layer of our school life. That must always be our ambition.
